My 10 gallon Already posted this on Bettafish... but for those of you who don't travel there ;) http://i55.photobucket.com/albums/g1.../10gallon1.jpg Theres 1 betta (black/blue crowntail), 1 Oto (he's on the leaf near the heater), and 1 gold apple snail - not pictured, since he was hiding under the coconut thing. Now I just gotta wait for more of my bulbs to grow! :-D (one aponogenton and 2 lily that haven't sprouted) the other plants are: Java Fern (inside the "bowl", which is actually a candle holder) and also spread around. An Amazon Sword, and 2 aponogenton, which you can see have grown quite long which they did in my 5 gallon, I just moved em over. |
NICE! Thou I think with all the plants you've chosen there, this tank is gonna be taken over & filled out with plants in no time at all :-) Got a name for Betta yet? |
haha, probably. But hey, I have a pair of scissors ;-) yes, named Kazimir. |
What a nice set up you have there! Have you considered adding another two otos? They do best in the company of each other and at least three (IMHO) should be the rule in keeping them. With a 10 gl you've got the room to add more. :-) I really like your tank! |
After I added this guy, I realized another one or two might be good. I wasn't sure if they were solitary, or liked others. |
I forgot to mention...he's a VERY pretty boy! :-) |
Well, I got another Oto. Sure enough, they're hanging out together. |
I'm glad you got him a buddy! |
Do take some fresh pictures to show us,... I bet they look good together.... are they hanging out with each other? Ron |
right now they're actually on opposite sides of the tank...lol I'll get some pics tomorrow in the daylight. |
