I am currently cycling my tank. I have put a bunch of flake food into a net and put it in my aquarium. I have also been using stability. How much fish food should i put in the net, and when should i take the net out, and i have also heard some bad things about stability, do you recommend it still use it?

I don't have any experience with "stability" but it seems to be a fairly safe product to help establish good bacteria. I'd keep using it. Some other members may be able to help you better with fishless cycling as I didn't have the patience to do it myself but good for you for doing it! If I'm not mistaken, I don't think you should plan on taking that net out... until your cycle completes... or starts at least. The fish food is in there for one reason only and that is for it to rot and create ammonia in the water. I'd personally keep in there until your nitrites start spiking, and then remove it.

Keep "feeding" the tank with like 1-2 flakes every day until the day your ammonia & nitrates peak up and then fall to 0; after that point you can then add fish.
Same as Hawkin, I never used "stability" neither so I can't comment on this how useful or not this may be.

how many flakes should i start with in the net?

Don't use the net. Just do a steady daily dose of fish food straight in the tank... like a good pinch. Pretty much like you would feed fish. Like Angel said... "feed the tank". Soon enough it will start digesting the stuff... and you'll know your cycle started.

Just toss 1-2 flakes directly in the tank each day once a day.
