Do Rainbow Sharks nip fins?
I know it's a weird question since their mouths are actually facing downwards but my RS is chasing the other fish all over the tank these days. He especially likes to chase the Kribensis and the tiger barbs. I haven't actually seen any fin damage on any fish but I'm starting to wonder if he's stressing out parts of my community? Strangely enough, he leaves the cardinals well alone. Anyone ever seen this?

Weren't you - hypothetically- getting rid of this guy anyway?
I have no pers exp with these guys, but they're documented to be territorial and/ or can develop aggression towards other tank mates....
Or maybe he's just stressing out as many other people do over the holiday season!?

LOL! It was a *hypothetical* question you know! ;-)
I'm just having a hard time bringing myself to do it (he's so fun to watch) and even if I were to do it, it won't happen until January with everything else happening with the holidays and all... maybe I should get him a ball and chain to restrict how far he can chase other fish? Anyone know where I can get that?
Awww my bluff has been called... I'm done for ;-)

oh common now...you the baby shark...add some fake palm trees...a high end light....then it would almost feel like vacation in FL :-)
No but seriously: That dude will stress yours out till the end...they're not exactly the type of "quitter" amongst fish world...they're kinda more like Navy seals, don't quit till the job is done...

Hehehe... now you're cracking ME up! Stripes on the shoulders for that Shark! Wish he was a blue beret!
