i just started a 55 gallon reef tank its been running for nearly two weeks now and i have a wiked bad algea problem. is this normal or am i doin something wrong. in hte tank i have about 20lbs of live rock 2 damsels and a clownfish.

What are your water parameters? Yes it is normal during the cycling process.

ammonia is .25ppm. nitrite and nitrate are both 0 and ph is at 8.2 im thinkin about getttin snails and hermits
