Small Cichlid with Medium Cichlid
Ok, All of my cichlids are between 1.5" -2.0" long, Well I found some cichlids that are approx .75" long. Would they be compatible with mine as far as being eaten? I have alot of honeycomb rock for them to seek shelter, but I'm not sure they'll have a chance to survive.
what type of cichlids are we talkin here?
If you are useing your 29 gallon i wouldnt but if you are the 55 i would.
Again "cichlid" is very general. Specify wht species.
Ok, Things are doing good. The fish I have are:
All these are 1.5-2.0"
3 Labidochromis Caeruleus
2 Melanochromis Johanni
5 Pseudotropheus Kenyi
These 2 are only 0.75-1.0"
1 Albino Pseudotropheus Greshakei
1 Un I'd Blue cichlid.. I'll have pics of it soon to help with id'ing
On the 26th I plan to buy a new stand for my 55g tank (the sketchy top fin stand will be sold!!) I'll be buying an all wood stand!
i would be cautios of the johanni's these are one of the most aggressive african's out there and might bully the much smaller new additions, i know when i add new mates to my tank the johannio beats on the m for a good 2-3 days untill the pecking order is established.
Watch those kenyi too. They are very aggressive and grow bigger and stockier than most mbunas. Oh, and the scientific namr for kenyi is Metriaclima lombardoi. They are part of the zebra complex.
