submersible water filter with built-in air pump
In my tank I have submersible water filter with Air pump. Picture is attached.
It have pipe which we have to connect at one end which should be keep outside the tank. So it will blow air bubble (i.e. Oxygen) from the other end . But when I connect pipe on other end from where air bubble comes to connect to air bubble ornament, it will start coming water from the other end which are keeping outside tank
Somebody knows, how to connect to air bubble ornament
I don't think you can connect an airbubble ornament to this type of accessory. The intake tube sucks in air and mixes it with water as it blows out of the outlet hole. You can also run the accessory without the air intake tube for circulation with no air bubbles.
This type of accessory( called a "powerhead") is excellent for mixing the water in your tank and oxygenating it ( if the air intake tube is used). Just make sure the current that it produces is not too strong for your tank.
For an air powered ornament you will need a different type of air pump.
this is for water circulation and not a filter. you can turn it into a biological filter by attaching a sponge to the bottom. make sure the black (venturi)tube cap is open.and placed outside of the tank.
