castle decoration

my wife bought me a beautiful castle for our aquarium. It has several entrances but shares a common hollow inside. Does anyone have any suggestion as to how to divide it up so several fish can use this instead of one bully fish. any suggestions will be welcome.

Thanks,
Jerry

depedns what fish your talkin about here, i have a johanni that owns about three four spots, just cause two fish can fit there dont mean itll happen that way, the boss fish has "territory" not objects. he owns such and suchxsuch and such not this decoration or cave.

I have kept a few cichlids and found that the more caves or places of refuge, the better. I have used terra cotta flower pots, cactus pots, coffee cups, pvc pipe, large rock formations with flagstone and slate. Now some of these didn't look all that attractive ,and re-arranging them on regular basis seemed to help by not allowing the fish to become too comfortable with any one particular Hidey Hole. As Mitch indicated, the dominant fish or fishes will always hold the best territory. Re-arranging(sp)? them on frequent basis kept this from happening and fishes were always staking out different turfs.
