GAH,I can't decide!! I just got a 29 gallon long aquarium and i cant decide between making it brackish and getting 2 green spotted puffers,or making it an amazon biotipe angel fish tank. *cry* why cant puffers be friendly so i can have more fish with them |
I have a solution,south american puffer!!! |
I like angels. Plus, you can add some other fish in with them for a nice variety in your tank. If you go with puffers, puffers will be it. Just offering my opinion since you asked :-) |
Yeah.i have decided i do not have the money for puffer upkeep (the salt, the snails, ect) So am going to get angel fish and possibly move my dwarf gourami from my 10 gallon into the 29 |
just letting you know you probably wont be able to fit a angelfish in a 29, maximum of 2. |
You say you have a 29 that's rather long - What's the height of the tank...that's what Angel's need considering they like swimming for one and grow to a body size of about 6-7" (plus fins so your easily looking at 10-11"). I'd personally not house a Angel or two in anything smaller then a 45g. Maybe its worth while reading up on them before you purchase them and then get upset about it later on? |
I agree with Angel. |
I agree with angel as well, I thought about putting an angel fish into my 30 gallon when I first got it, but looking at some of the angel fish in the store and seeing how tall they are (fins included) I can see that even at 18 inches tall, my tank would have been a little limiting to them :/ I ended up starting out with three mollies, now I'm at 4 mollies and a baby (I think the baby came from the store when I got my fourth molly, the guy must have netted it accidentally along with the molly I picked out) I have to say, it's exciting to see the baby from time to time in the tank, it is hard to find! |
