Hygrophila Polysperma Alternative
I have Hygrophila Polysperma in my tank. I like the bushy look of it and enjoy looking at the fish playing with it tremendously. But I really dislike the shoots! I find they make the plant look messy.
I originally went with Hygrophila because I don't actually have a deep substrate and I was told that Hygrophila would still do well in my tank. Is there an alternative to Hygrophila that I can plant in my tank that will still have a bushy look to it but not make shoots all over the place?
The site linked has a photo index of plants. If you then click on the photo, up comes the information on the species.

What about something like Crypto's or maybe a stem plant like the red Ludweigia? Or maybe if you have small fish something like Hairgrass, they always like that
i love the red ludwigia, my fish love to play in it
