Finally found some SMS!!!
I have been calling around for the longest time trying to find this stuff everyone calls SMS! FInally after many rude and confused phone people i found a place that has some. He said they have about 25 bags left of a pallet that he has had around for 3 years but once its gone he will not be ordering anymore in!! So i better jump on this deal now..only 12 bucks a bag! I am going to use it to fill up my new 90 gallon and possibly later on my 55 gallon.
Do you guys think only two bags would be enough for a good 3 inch or so layer on each tank? I would stock up on a few more bags but im low on cash and I knopw this stuff is pretty stable that it will last almost forever correct?
If anyone else is looking for it in the orlando, fl area just let me know maybe i will give this guy enough business with us planted aquarium people he won't stop ordering it for us lol!!!
I also read that this stuff has a ph af 6.0? I have used Turface allsport and didn't see any drop in my Ph. Tap runs me about 7.4 no matter what i do. I did rinse my allsport really well before adding it to the aquarium though so maybe this made the difference?
I don't know that particular one, so I can't comment on pH matter, maybe googel has a answer?
If you're talking 2x25lbs bags then yes just about will cover it in a 55g. If you're talking 90&55g with 2x25lbs no that ain't gonna cut it :-)
lol k thanks ill splurge and get three just in case then.
