just bought encyclopedia of aquarium & pond fish
Hey I just bought encyclopedia of aquarium & pond fish by David Alderton. Great book! It has a nice bit of information on all types of fish inverts and plants used in the aquarium & pond, fresh, salt, and brakish. I stayed up til about 12 last night reading in it. Very nice book 400 pages.

I know the feeling. ALthough I am not familiar with your new book, I am sure it was very informative and enjoyed.
Also try looking into Hans Baensch Aquarium Atlas. i believe they have either 4 or 5 volumes. Great book on fish and plants with specific species info and pics.

Hmmm...Any snails mentioned there? I wonder what it says about goldfish. I'd be interested to know both accounts. I haven't read that book although I have quite more than a dozen books here on aquaria, etc.

Yea, you must think I love to type books huh?!! Sorry, but I can't type that much stuff. I'm not a good or fast typer. What would you like to know?

I was hoping to know everything written there.lol It's not bad to type at least 40,000 characters in an hour but I guess this is just one of my habits. I remember vividly typing some block info if I cannot get my scanner to connect well to my pc.

You crack me up! There are pages of info about goldfish. Go check it out, maybe you could go by the book store and look through it. It's a big thick book in the aquarium section next to the dog, cat, and bird section.
