Water Change After Cycling

A quick question: I'm just finishing up the cycling process of my tank, but the tank is not level. My plan is to take out about half the water tonight, level it better, and then re-fill the tank. There aren't any fish in there yet, and it will be a few days after leveling before I put any fish in. Is it okay to do a large water change (50%) after cycling before adding fish?

You should be fine with draining half the water out to re-level the tank. Do keep in mind, if you used fishless method for maturing or (cycling), that the good bacteria in the filter needs steady source of ammonia to feed on in the way of fish waste,or fish food or it will begin to die off. If it is going to be a few days before fish are added, then you might consider tossing a pinch of flake food in the tank once each day to keep the bacteria in the filter active.
