Online plant order report
I was very unsure which place to choose to order plants for the 55g online, however the non-avilability of plants in the store "closest" (over 2 hrs away) from me forced me to do so.
So in the end I chosen to order here Sweet Aquatics
All in all I ordered 33 plants for a Total of $46, which I find is a very good price. Also at this price they offered free shipping, which was another plus.
Upon receiving the shipment I came to realize that some plants were actually a few more then the amount I ordered. Also many plants had plents of runners already on them, so that was a plus too. The overall quality of the plants was good too.
The only plant that troubled me from day 1 was the Redd Tiger Lotus, which I hoped being out of the packaging and back in the water would help it, but no all its leaves turned like papery- see through. I contacted the company and incl pictures of the very plant the next day and asked them, cause it could well be IMO this type of plant does not ship well and the biggest reason I wanted to know that from them is so next time I could order something different for the other tanks.
Before I even had a email reply from them I was refunded the full cost of this plant, followed up by an email from their side.
So all in all I am happy with quality and price and customer service, there's nothing more I could ask for and I'd definitely recommend them and buy there again myself.
I attached you a picture of 1 my old tank and if you look on the right side, that Tiger was SO BUSHY and so NICE in its coloration and tall, I just REALLY REALLY loved the colors as far as centerpiece plant....Maybe after I completely had to clip back this new one, it''ll grow back out over time at least I hope so.
Must be nice to have a Walmart that carries fish supplies  Or any place in town for that matter...
I rarely purchase anything from walmart with the exception of perhaps gravel, and some fish foods which are often cheaper than the big chain stores. Their fish are usually in such poor condition,,that I am saddened by the experience of visiting but yet,, feel drawn to them with each visit for groceries ,hardware, etc.
The photo of the tank you submitted looks very nice.
Our Walmart back home (Colorado) used to sell fish too, I personally prefer non-commercialized hobby breeders to get my fish.
Thanks...but I had to give all tanks up for moving, so now I'm starting alllll over again, but I know it'll be worth while it in the end :-)
