It will make your Ammonia nitrates and nitrites rise just a bit but it will resume back to normal in about a week. I have seen it were it wouldnt effect any of that to.

Adding live rock would help boost your filtration levels. Once some hidey holes were established you might try several types of crabs, shrimps, or other oddities. I certainly would not attempt any clams until you boost your lighting.
