Looking for: Spotted Blue Eye Pseudomugil gertrudae
 

I am testing the waters trying to locate these fish.
I only need about ten but can't really afford $5.00-$6.00 a fish on top of 30+ dollars shipping! :shock:

Does anyone breed them? I'm not looking to buy quite yet, in a couple weeks or so I'd say.

Why are they so expensive? They seem like easy to care for fish that aren't hard to breed. Probably not much of a demand for them, huh'?

Any advice of finding some (babies are fine) would be greatly appreciated. :-D

had to tried calling around your local stores, see if they can get them for ya? Mine does special orders and has so many connections that I'm willing to bet he can get his hands on almost everything.

Try going to www.plantedtank.net. On their forums you will find an area where there are places that sell fish. One is invertzfactory. They have the pseudomugl gertrudae you are looking for and they are 3.50 a
piece. They charge 15.00 for priority shipping. I have bought from them many times and have had very good luck.
