Quite filters?
I have a 10g and 29g in my bedroom and the filter on the 29 is a Tetra "Whisper" 40 and it is very loud. So loud that I have too shut it off at night and just run a power head. I know that is not good for the fish so what would be a good and quite canister or hang on back filter for under $80? For the 10g I was looking at the Aqueon Quiteflow 20. The tank is right next to my bed so would that filter be quite enough?

sure its for a 40 but they are good filters. read the reviews. one dude said 19 yrs and never broke.

I think I would get the one that goes up to 66g that would probably be better for my tank cus it's heavily stocked. It pretty cheap to. It is going to be quite to so looks good to me.

What about the 10g, would a Aqueon Quiteflow 20 be quite enough or is there a better option?

aquaclear i hear is very good. havent had much experience with them tho. there is a small hang on style canister that might interest you. but it might be too big for a 10 gallon. this i also havent had experience with just bee looking info up on it an might be trying it out on a 20 gallon high. seems to be good so far. if your going for a bigger canister like that eheim which is good. there also are one like the sunsun canister filters that have gotten very popular over the yrs good prices good flow hold alot of media. either one will be fine

Aquaclears are nice, but they are loud compared to canisters. I've got a bunch of sunsuns and XPs. I'm a huge fan of the sunsuns.

I wasn't able to see what you linked Rex.

The aqueon quietflow is extremely quiet and good design too. I'm an aquaclear guy for life but they do make a bit of noise. Noise can be greatly reduced if you lube the impeller shaft with silicone or graphite lubricant.
Good luck!

P.S. in-tank filters are virtually silent. My fav is whisper 10i. Very small and cheap but definitely enough for a.10 gal.
