Austrailian Rainbow fish
 

i have recently received two of these fish as a gift from my wife.. i love them they are energetic:lol: and beautiful.... as i am getting ready to move i have them in with my platies for now and will re home them after the move... however last night i was checking over the tank and looking for fry from the platies and found what looks like a huge bunch of eggs on the upper corner of the tank!!! this is really cool IMO... i just need as much information as possible regarding breeding with these types of fish.. i have never bread egg layers before....lol..... should i set up some time of device that keeps the other fish from them (i have an idea on how to set it up) should i let them just do thier thing.... ?????? gonna look all over the net but you ladies and gentlemen have never given me bad advice......:shock::lol::yourock::dunno:

just let them be and do thier thing although they might get really agressive then you would have to seperate the other fish from them, dont try to move the eggs

oh no i wuld never try that i was thinking more of setting up a hang on tank box made of plastic canvas so that the other fish wont eat the eggs.. what do you think ....let nature take its course or protect them ??? they haven't gotten aggressive as of yet but they sure have more energy than a few days ago...lol
