why didnt i think that brilliant u think he will change if i do that be great let me ask u if i put another 2 and half inch oscar in there will he be dead in 3 days or will he be able to handle his own the long finned tiger oscar not the basic one

I dont think adding anymore fish will help, it may stress him more and cause him to fight even more. The rearranging can help with fighting

the reranging worked kinda my oscar is out and about now but hes still flaring up at everybody and wanting to fight why did this start all of a sudden tho just randomly

molliefan09 10-22-2009 07:34 PM

as you probably already know both of those fish can be HIGHLY aggressive and although they may start out as great tank mates the slightest change in water params or anything like that can stress them and cause them to be agressive towards eachother

all i knw is the day he learned to flare was the day he kicked out the oscar of his cave didnt even change the scenery before he flared but now my oscar has taken his cave back and isnt playin i think he just threaten the firemouth that he would eat him he snapping at him as we speak and opening his mouth wide up lol and the firemouth ran away to terrioze the pleco who cant bite back lol what cheater if i was fish id smack him all aroudn that tank with my tail

southamericancichlidguy23 10-22-2009 07:39 PM
