hey ppl. i have 3 jds and 9 tiger barbs and a common pleco they are in a 55 gal tank is there any other fish that i can possable add with out loosing any..... I think that the JD's will eat the tiger barbs in time but im not sure and i wanna stick to cichlids
well last night i did a 10% water change and 2 of the jd's turned into black/ dark purple while the third staid brownish. then i fed em and the two that changed colors were all over each other playing i think its a male and female but when the brownish color one came over of of the others just pushed him away could this be two males? and would a bumble bee cichlid be ok if i introduce him into the tank?
your tank is overstocked now as it is....don't know much about tiger barbs, but the jd's will get 8-10in. if you do have a breeding pair of jd's then your really going to be in trouble!!! jd's really get aggressive towards others when they breed. bumble bee cichlids require different water parameters than the jd's.
