the effects of uv light on aquarium fertilizer
iv got a 9watt uv sterilizer in my 50 gallon aquarium and i was researching online and saw something that suggested that uv light can render plant ferilizer useless and i was wondering if thats true
plants need fertilizer to thrive and uv lighting is to keep the algea away.too much uv is never a good thing.so time your lighting.maybe use it 6 hours a day and your tank should be fine.ask your lfs about the type of lighting for your type of tank.
my lighting is all set and good. perfect for my tank im just wondering if the uv light messes with the ferts because i saw something online that brought up the same subject
