greetings, and salutations
I was directed to you forum just a few days ago, and have found it very informative, and friendly. I look forward to starting, and sharing my new hobby with all of you. I hope that you do not mind my rambling questions, but, I would like to gain as much knowledge as possible. By doing this, perhaps the art of tropical fish keeping will result in long lasting fish, and a lack of trauma for my daughter ;-). I will pose my first questions in the aquariums forum, and I look forward to our future correspondance.
Many thanks in adavance.
Hello and welcome to FishForum.
Hi Brian- Welcome to the forum! I had to laugh when I read your line about "lack of trauma" for your daughter. I remember having to bury a dead kuhli loach out in the back yard when I was 8. Considering that was 42 years ago and I can still remember it like it was yesterday means that was a pretty traumatic experience for me, LOL. Good luck with your new hobby, it's alot of fun. :-)
Hello and welcome to the forum brian!
Thank you for the welcomes!
I have already had the "Money" experience in the aquariums forum, and am checking frequently for suggestions. I have laced an elaborate wall of text describing our current project there. Probably something you guys have seen hundreds of times.
But, I have a good feeling about this venture. My goldfish made it 9 years before I put him in a goldfish pond, and I had no idea about water chemistry. I previously tried tropicals before, without success, basically due to lack of knowledge.
Not to sound like a kid, but this is pretty freakin' cool!!
hello and welcome.
i hope you get all the help you need.
