I have a 4 ft Tank and have some egg layers and also some livebearers as well. I have 3 neon tetra, 3 cherry barbs and 3 golden barbs and 5 zebra danios. out of all the groups there is always 1 or 2 of them pregant. but they never ever seem to lay any eggs at all. Just wondering why theres lots of hiding plants, good water conditions, slightly raised tempriture and also lots of live plants???
Is there anything else I can do?
Try researching each breed of fish and get the specific parameters for each type of fish. More times than you'll care to see it's very difficult. I have read neons are extremely hard to breed. The barbs I'm not sure of,but I did read on here someone had baby zebras and didn't even know it.
Google IS a good friend. :) Good luck with it!
