Can fish learn their names?
Im asking this because one of my fish always swims up to me when I say its name, but when I say the other fish's name they don't respond. Did he somehow learn his name? Also, I think that fish has a sense of humor! I said "am I smart" near the tank and that same fish looked like he was shaking his head! I then said "Am I crazy?" and he nodded! That little stinker

haha ill take some too!. all my fish freak out when i go near the tank. they learned who feeds them. if they learned names i dont think they would be happy with what i call them.

Our bearded dragon knows her name, Tinker Belle. Fish, I doubt it. My jacks were in a totally green 175 vat outside al summer. They could not see me. When I threw in food it took a few minutes for them to respond. I trained them so that when I banged on the side they would surface immediately.

That's a good way to train ADFs - tapping the glass.

Agreed, Rams are not too bright. My Bolivian just watches as the other fish gobble up the food I just dropped right over his head. He'll swim over there slowly, trying to decide if he's going to eat it or not, and bam! Another fish gets it. And this keeps happening--he never seems to learn!
