I have mollies in with my archer fish, they provide him some snacks. I am to much of a softy to watch the hunt. If I see any fry in the tank, I rescue them. Silly me, eventually I will have more molly than I know what to do with.

Yeah, about 15 or so mollie fry.

I thought you couldnt keep angels and discus together because discus like softer water or something like that. And get stressed by the fast moving angel fish, because discus are more slow and graceful

Mine have lived together since april. The discus move faster than my angels most of the time. Both are from "amazon" conditions, living in soft acidic water, which I have provided for them. Most of the time the reasoning I have seen for people saying not to put them together is because the discus can be susceptible to diseases the angels carry but suffer no ill effects from.

Your angels are stunning. Big beautiful and just perfect! I hope mine get that nice...I can't watch them eat live fry it makes me feel terrible..Like I'm sacrificing baby fish. Eh. lol

Honestly, I felt pretty bad the first time I fed them babies. The thing is, my girlfriend has mollies and guppies...and THEY BREEEED. Like crazy. The babies have babies, then the babies have more babies. The lfs will only take so many, and I don't want our tanks to get overpopulated, so it has become something of a necessity. My fish LOVE it. They get so excited about it, you can totally see the change over to "hunt" mode in them when they realize what just got put into the tank, very cool to see nature in action. It's like a nature show in your living room. This particular time it was mollies, but they've had guppy treats before too. :P They seem to enjoy both equally. I'm sure yours will get like mine, soon enough you'll go "WOW how'd they get so big so fast?" if it happens like it did with mine. Regular water changes and a varied diet, with a little love thrown in and I'm sure they too, will be awesome.
