I think my gouramis are breeding whats next?
Hey guys recently i've noticed the male and female gourami sharing the same area in one of the caves which is rare considering the male is normaly dominant of all the areas.
then i noticed them doing this dance thing and now they are making some sort of nest i can see bubbles only just in this little cave.
I think they might be laying eggs?
So if they are whats next and what should i be looking out for? I know the water quality is good and stable and i know the area they might be making a nest is not disturbed even with my bubbles in the water.
I'll try and get some photos what do you think? how long does it take for the eggs to hatch? and when should i start seeing little fish? i have a big bala shark in my tank so hopefully he won't eat them i keep them well fed though so should be right.
i did turn the lights down in the tank i think this might help is that right?
