HELP! My ammonia keeps spiking
My ammonia keeps spiking every 1-2 days. I keep treating with ammo-lock but it just comes back. I have added a bacteria supplement to help control it. The spikes have slowed a little. What should i do.

the ammo lock converts toxic ammonia to non toxic ammonium, in this case the converted ammonium will also read on a ammonia test. cut your feeding down to once a day stop adding chems and perform water changes up to 50% sometimes everyday to keep your ammonia under control. there is no such thing as a "instant cycle in a bottle" just things that promote the growth of the bac. just follow that advice and be patient, remember only bad things happen fast in aquariums not good things.
