Transporting Aquariums

Hey! After the care i had with my aquarium thats at my moms i want to bring it here to my dads. I was wondering what the best/easiest way to do that was? dont way by car :P thats a given XD

Buy some rubbermaid tubs. One to put the water and fish in. (a battery powered air pump, for a long trip)
Gravel in another tub, covered with some tank water.
The filter media needs to remain wet as well, so however you see most fit.

its only going like 9 blocks :)

like tm said, thats the best way....just pick up a couple of 5 gallon buckets

so five gallon buckets for the fishies then just empty out the water from the tank
could i not keep substrate and decors in tank and just carry it like that?
keep filter moist for the short trip, and love my fishies?

That will work. The tank will be heavy with the gavel in it, don't drop it!

yeah i would worry it being too heavy...i'd dump the gravel over a few 5 pound buckets and keep it wet, and keep your filter media wet too!

good luck

ive lifted it before with gravel in it
i dont know how to take the gravel out so i just hadda lift it before D:
