Want to make a crustacean tank
I plan to make one like I posted in the DIY forum with dividers, the question is, what size does it need to be to raise and possibly breed up to 15 of them at any given time at adult size.
What kind of substrate do I need, will small gravel work for them to burrow through? Do I need lighting for them if I don't grow plants? I know they eat them but I may try anyway. What do they eat besides fish and plants, I mean what comprises their normal diet?
I know it is a general question but I failed badly with wild caught ones so I want to try the real thing and I want to get set up to do it right, or at least know how to if I decide I really want to try it.
HERE is my tank idea.
