I thought my molly babies were dalmations.
 

Now I realize they are creamsicles. I think. I'm so confused!

Yeah it happens. When babies are young it is difficult to tell unless they are going to be a dark red or black when they are adults. If that is the case then you can tell from day one the distinct shades of red and gray. If they some from a tank with many different varieties will be fun to see what comes out of it.

Don't be too confused. Baby mollies have all kinds of splotchy looking colors but eventually color up to their adult coloring. I have a batch that I knew were creamsicles that looked like everything but creamsicles for the first month or so. Now they almost all have the correct creamsicle coloring.

Thanx. Yeah, I think they are creamsicles. But my female cramsicle, though she is and was huge, has never had a gravid spot like my swordtail did.

Mollies will seldom ever show a "gravid spot". They are not swordtails, they are mollies.
