Hi guys, im new here, Ii have had this aquarium for about a month now..
not much in it, im just getting it going and getting some plants and stuff before i put more fishes..
At the moment there are 1 Procambarus Fallax (with eggs), 2 ancistra spp.. (bushymouth catfish) male/female and 1 big apple snail
im getting some Malaysian Trumpet Snails to stir the sand so the gas pockets wont appear..i dont remember the name of the plant..
fine sand at the bottom..
some bogwood I got from my sisters garden.. stones and stuff :)
i would like to get some java moss and some easy plants to begin with.
its 54L (11 Gallon)

Man, the crayfish is neet! What is it doing? I was thinking about getting a couple of dwarf ones. What was that under the overflow?

what type of substrate are you using it looks brown?
can you tell me what the brand name is as well?
it does look brown.. I actually was hoping that it was brown....
so its Black.....then.....
do you know the name brand of sand u used?
I will be doing a 90 gallon tank after the new year...
and I really like the way your tank looks.. the
coconut adds a real nice touch also..... thats cool....
OK, first of and don't get me wrong now - But where the heck do you live? When we were stationed overseas I got to love love love Juwel tanks, now being back home & starting over I about died when I found out they're discontinued here...so where the heck did you get yours?
To the tank now lol...love your sand, love the coloration variation, nice choice and a very nice choice on plants there too!! Looks a lil like you have a Staghorn algae troubles there on some plants!?
