our 55 gallon
our 55 gallon freshwater working on planted tank.....
That's a beautiful looking tank Mel. What do you have in it?
nice, i see you have two HOB filters both rated 55 gallons, ones a penguin bio-wheel, the otehr is an emperor bio-wheel, nice.
well we have some guppies, some mollies, some tetras, and some other fish. I dont remember what the plants are called.
i see a bala shark...
I love it, looks great mel :)
Love the choice of gravel, Lovely looking tank mel! :D
I see you have 2 filters.....I am new to this whole fish tank thing, and I was wondering why you would have 2 filters like that? Is it because of the size of the tank.
This will help the handling of bioload the tank has. In a tank that has several fish, you will need more than just a filter to accommodate the bioload.:) Overfiltration is often necessary in overstocked tanks.:)
That makes since....after how many fish should you get a 2nd filter? I just started setting mine up, and of course I have no fish yet. I am currently letting the tank cycle.
