Pacific Rose Coral Budding?
I'm not positive, it may even be something wrong with the coral, but it has two fairly large bubbles forming (it was three yesterday but only two larger ones remain today). They have grown a fair bit from the three tiny bubbles I saw originally, and are inside of the coral just inside the outer lip. Is this what new buds forming can appear as? It was a single polyp before so I am assuming this is how it forms new buds by itself. Am I correct? I can't find much information on what this looks like =/

the tenticles by its mouth have little bubbles on them, im only guessing thats what it is. try for a picture and using your cameras macro setting ( the one with the little flower on alot of cameras ) to get a close up shot.

My camera has a REALLY hard time focusing up close through the glass. These bubbles are about 1/8th the size of the coral itself and are actually inside of it, not just on the tips of the tentacles. It looks like it is budding fully today, there is a V shape (the whole thing is fairly heart shaped right now) on its outer lip now inwards and it looks to be splitting in two. Not sure what this has to do with bubbles forming inside of it though...
