Scales Missing on bloodfin tetra's

Hello everyone. I have a 55 gallon tank. With 6 kuhli loaches, 1 cory (lone survivor of ammonia Spike a year ago.) and a rainbow shark, along with 5 bloodfin tetra's I did have 6 tetra's one died about 2 weeks ago. and i been noticing that 2 of my bloodfins are Losing scales, and aren't really eating. All my other fish seem fine, I do weekly water changes, and the water perimeters have been stable Nothing has changed. I do notice my Rainbow shark chases my bloodfins, but never for long and normally the shark goes back to doing his own thing. I have been trying to get rid of the shark. due to the aggression, and i don't have an extra tank to house him in.

Could it be that the Shark is the cause of the loss of scales and (death of 1 bloodfin) or is it a Disease? also i notice my tetra's aren't swimming about like they use to. they tend to stay in one spot. but they aren't schooling like they would if they were stressed.

I asked a friend of mine who said it could be the shark, but i want to get other opinions.

Thanks for any help or advise you can give.

It could be aggression from the shark. How are the fishes' behavior at feeding time? Bloodfins missing scales can be either from within their group or from the shark. I'd do a big water change of 50-75% and see if the tetras perk up. They might be staying in one spot due to territoriality from the shark. What're your water stats?

Sorry for such Delay. I recently Moved my Tetra's and Kuhli loaches to my 40G breeder planted tank. The shark is in the 55 by himself,

My water perams: are ph 7.4 ammonia 0, nitrite 0, Nitrate 10, But My water perams Haven't changed.
