Sometimes guppies just die for no reason in my experience. My girlfriend has had several that kicked the bucket unexpectedly and for no apparent reason. If your other fish are ok, I would chalk it up to nature.

Maybe so, I started off with 6 and only have 1 left after 1-2 weeks. Maybe a bad batch from petco.............

sometimes petco gets a shipment and they are stressed out. Sometimes it's best to get them after they have been at the store for a few weeks. Petco does have a 14 day return policy if the fish dies or it does not work out. I bought a pair of Black Swordtails male/female and then went back the next day and bought 1 more female. I had to take that one back as the original pair I got picked on it. I took it back today. I got a full refund. You must have your original receipt and the dead in water or return the fish that you are having problems with. Check craigslist in your area. Look under Pets or General and even free. I see alot of people selling their excesss guppies for really cheap or give them away for free. The fish that lost an eye might be ok. I had a baby hamster once and one of the other litter mates messed up it's eye and it lost it's eye. I treated it with medicine and it was fine with one eye.

The one with the eye missing died as well. I will return the dead fish back to petco for a refund as I definitely dont want any more from there. Thanks for the suggestion of craigslist. I look there.
