Actually more about attachment for it. I saw this pump to put on top of the pipe. Easy enough to see how it works. Now I am wondering if on my 1+gallon hex tank I have the room to put it on. Or if it is just to big.

I am such a noob...:oops:

uhm i cannot find the reason you posted other than asking what good does a powerhead do on a 10 gal? they work very well no matter what size usually. get a low flow ph though so you dont bang up ur fish

Yes, a powerhead would blow the fish and water out of a 1g tank.;-) You don't need it.

didnt know if it was 10 gal or 1 gal if its 1 gal im going to have to say NO ph ur fish will go crazy...
