How to Attach Videos Hello, First things first, currently videos must be 2 MB in size or smaller. Instructions on how to make your videos this small in Winows Movie Maker (free software most everyone has) are at the end of this post. To attach a video, after you have typed the body of your post you can choose the video file from your computer by clicking the "Browse" button in the "Add an Attachment" section below the body of your post. Once you have selected your video file, click "Add Attachment". It may take a minute or two for your video file to transfer from your computer to the FishForum.com server. When you submit your post, your video file should appear with it. Because most members are using Windows systems, converting your video to a .WMV file will ensure that the majority of people can see it. To convert your video to a .WMV file, open Windows Movie Maker. Start > All Programs > Accessories > Windows Movie Maker Windows Movie Maker is available on Windows XP systems that are up to date. First, import your video file: http://www.fishforum.com/userpix/2_videoStep1_1.jpg Next, drag your video file into the first spot on the "timeline": http://www.fishforum.com/userpix/2_videoStep2_1.jpg Finally, save the video to disk: http://www.fishforum.com/userpix/2_videoStep3_1.jpg Be sure to specify that you want your video to be 2 MB! http://www.fishforum.com/userpix/2_addVideo4_1.jpg Your video should now be in .WMV format and under 2 MB. Please PM me if you need any assistance. Please be sure to post your picture or video in the appropriate forum. You are currently in the Freshwater Pictures and Videos forum. |
