I'd love to see pics of this occupied. How do you keep the plants planted?

I've tried plants with my Cichlids and they never stay planted

yeah cichlids are pretty well known for digging up things in the tank. Even my little german blue rams have dug up some of the smaller plants in my tank for no apparent reason.
