Welcome to the forum! My B/F pretends to have an interest but I know it's all show/no go. Everytime he sees me on the forum I get the big eye roll. Your B/F is indeed a lucky guy!

:thankyou: for the welcome Aunt Kymmie. I really love all the tanks we have, especially knowing all the work that goes into maintaining them. I help with what I can, which is why I want to learn more. Started out randomly researching different things as we added more and more species. He bought some split tail guppies not long ago that are among my favorites right now. We're hoping they have some new babies soon!! What really got me reading was when the [purple] brig snail laid eggs. I was so excited when he showed me the clutch! I don't dedicate nearly the time he does but want to learn enough that I'll know what I'm doing when I can (we also have 3 dogs and a cat).

When we first got together he had 4 or 5 tanks. I moved in over a year ago and now there are 11. Several being breeding tanks for a variety of fish, shrimp, and micro-crays. Sadly two of my favorites (Jack Dempsy & Convict Cichlid) of the original tanks are gone (but not forgotten). I've named just about every fish we have which I know he thinks is comical, but I remember them all! And I've definitely caught his MTS but what a nice thing to catch, right?

Thanks again for the welcome, hope to learn a lot from everyone here (when I can be on).

How nice of you to say Fishin Pole! :-D

Why do I keep having to log back in? Is there a macro to time out if no activity for a period of time??? I've had a couple of times when I was writing a post and when I hit 'submit' I was asked to log in again....it's very exasperating! But, I got smart with the last one and copied it before I hit 'submit' just in case it lost my post again. Just wondered if anyone else has this issue....
