My Ghost Shrimp are "Shy"
 

A week ago I got 4 ghost shrimp for my 29 gallon community tank. I heard they made good cleaners and were fairly active (move around the tank a lot).

It's been a week and my shrimp just sit under plants all day. The tanks light isn't on but there is some sunlight so I don't know if they still think that it's night and they should sleep.

The other fish in the tank are:
2 neon tetras
2 orange-finned tetras
4 black tetras
1 zebra danio
1 bristlenose (i think) pleco

Should I keep the light on more? Should I just wait longer?

you could temp them with some shrimp pellets,
mine loved them,and were great to watch scampering to get the pellets
before the fish.
they probably just need some time to settle in.

I have ghost shrimp and some are out and about and some I never see. It took about a week or so for the few I see to come out. They are good hiders...............
