longest time you've kept a flame scallop healthy?
Please answer the poll. thnx in advance.
i personally havnt kept one but ive read and talked to members of my reefing club about these not surving long term in most tanks, and even feather dusters and coco worms will slowly get smaller and smaller as they starve in most tanks.
I tried them twice and they both died in about 2 months. I saw them at the lfs today and as much as I liked them, I don't have it in me to kill another one.
Very difficult to keep in a reef tank. IMO, if people stop buying them the LFS will stop selling them.
We know most LFS want our livestock to die or they will go out of business.
They are beautiful. Unfortunately i think its best if they stay in the wild. Just my 2¢
