Resealing a 30g Tank!

Hey everyone...I recently took a 30g tank for free and found out that it has a leak on the bottom. I have scrapped the filling and now i need some advice to resealing! Im plannin on useing all purpose silicon...any suggestions?

your going to want to use either aquarium safe silicon or 100% silicon with no additives. i personally would scrape that entire seam as clean as possible with a razor blade and then re-seal the entire seam in one shot. silicon sticks best glass to glass.

it may be cheaper/less of a headache to pickup another used or even new 30 gallon tank.
