I read somewhere that it is not unheard of for Guppy and Molly to interbreed...resulting in what some people are calling Muppies...:-D
Last night I was watching my tank and the only Guppy left from my disasterous Ammonia onslaught that I had recently had seemed to be trying to force a Male Platy to breed with her, which I must say did seem to happen very briefly on more than one accassion. I have attached pictures below (As everyone seems to like my photographs...:-P) of the fish in question...

My only guppy that is left...(Female)

What I THINK is a Neon Blue Platy...(Male) X2

Firstly, am I correct on the species of the Platy, and secondly, is it possible for them to breed?

As far as I know, Platies and Swordtails can breed and Mollies and Guppies can breed, but those pairs cannot mix.
