Stocking Question - 55 Gal & 30 Gal
Hello, Thank you in advance for any help. I currently have three (3) tanks that I am consolidating into two (2). Since most of these fish were separate in their previous tanks its proving difficult for me to decide how to stock these two tanks (55 Gal and 30 Gal). Both new tanks are currently cycling with heavily planted setups including driftwood and rocks. Any advice/recommendations are appreciated. I am looking out for the fish here so you wont hurt my feelings with overstock/stupid tank mate comments...
6 Green Tiger Bars
3 Harlequin Rasboras
2 Buenos Aires Tetras
2 Parkinson Rainbows
1 Bolivian Ram
2 Gold Algae Eaters
1 Sailfin Pleco (3.5"-4")
5 Ghost Shrimp
2 Apple Snails
2 Half Black Angelfish
7 Bloodfin Tetra
1 Dwarf Flame Gourami
1 Gold Dojo Loach
1 Common Pleco (1"-1.5")
1 Rubber Pleco (1"-1.5")
1 Apple Snail
My main concerns:
-Shrimp in the 55 Gal with those fish
-GTB in 55 picking on other fish
-Overstocked... both tanks sadly...
-Buenos Aires Tetras are rather agressive, I hope GTB's and Rainbows will resolve this....
Again, thank you for any help you can provide.
For the tiger barbs, I suggest a min of 8! They really require a large school so they pick on each other instead of others.. :-)
same goes for the Buenos Aires Tetras they need a large school. they are rather aggressive tetras. mine are always fighting with eachother.
