is there a point in adding a diy Co2 to my 10 gallon?
if you have live plants there is a point, if theres no live plants theres no point, simple as that
ya i have some. what will happen if i dont add one?
nothing bad, CO2 makes the plant grow faster, it is not nessicary, just, well if you add it the plant will like it. Also your ph will lower if you use it
CO2 helps at all lighting levels, but is not required below 2w/g. And for a 10G tank, DIY is all that's needed. But also remember, if adding CO2 under lower lighting, you may also need to add ferts, as the increase in CO2 uptake equals increased uptake of all other ferts.
