Rio Grande silvery minnow

Does anyone know anything about breeding this fish? Ive searched the web 4 hours and came up with conservation stuff. Whats kind of cool is that they are abundant in my area. I want to breed them and release them or use them for bait(I've become quite interested in fishing lately) . I would think they would need a fast flowing, sandy habitat to breed because that's where I found them. I hink they pair up and mine might have because they are always near each other. Right now they are in the 55 gallon and have been in there for several days and I know there is a risk of the other fish getting a disease but they got in there on accident and I lost the net.

I would think they would breed like other minnows so I will search on other species.
