:( Hi I have a 55 gal its been up for 3mos. its a reel tank. I have 4 fish (small) and 4 inverts and I cant seam to get the nitrate down? i just did a H2o change .I was feeding everyday would that do it?

How much, what kind of fish, what foods. Sometimes the fish themselves can be the polluter. Like if you had 4 panther groupers in the 55g.

You will need to give a detail about the filtration, how often and if you do water changes, ets....

am i over feeding?
 

55gal i have 3 clowns and 1 damzel all about 2'' long i was giving them 1 block of brin srimp and 1 block of blood worms and silver fish all frozen every day also i have 2 hang on the back 1 is big and 1 small and 2 blower in the tank moving alot of water

i dont know much about sw but do you have a protien skimmer?

What are your water parameters.

Yes i have protien skimmer

And I test the water once a week everthing is good but the nitrate

Maybe you are feeding them to much and its polluting the water. Try cutting back on food a bit and see if it helps.

Yeah I'd say one frozen cube once a day or even once everyother day.
