| Zombie | 07-24-2009 03:16 PM | Little friend(s) for my froggy? If I put a pair of full-grown guppies in with him, would he try to eat them? He's about an inch long. They'll be removed when he gets larger but that won't be for a while. He has a hermit crab sand substrate, a few shells and a few smooth stones in the bottom of the tank. There is no filter or heater but they can be added. I was actually thinking about adding the heater anyways as it gets a bit chilly in my room sometimes. The heater would keep it at 75 lowest, 78 highest. I thought of guppies because, although staying at a smaller size compared to mollies and platies, they aren't quite as small as endlers. Tap ph is 7.2-7.4 ph. Any suggestions are welcome. I'm afraid a Betta may be too agressive but do give opponions on that. Thanks much.
NOTE: he is an African Clawed Frog and this is only while he's small. The others will be put into other living quarters as he grows. I though of the guppies so he'd have snacks on occassion.
Sincerely,
Charlene |
