Kribs have babies - what now?
Hello! I have a 55 community freshwater with 1 swordfish, 2 cories, 1 platy, 1 upside down catfish, 1 neon, 1 guppy who arrived with the krib pair, 1 brachardi, and 1 gold gourami. My kribs whom I have had for only a month have bred twice. I think the first batch was eaten. They now have a second batch. Do I leave them in the tank with the other fish? Will the other fish eat them? How long do Kribs protect the babies? Not used to having all those babies but they sure are cute! Is it the same batch as before? I am asking that because I thought maybe they were hard to see before but now they are seen but still very tiny.

I would put the babies in their own 10 gallon.

I came up with a brain wave as I do not have another tank I could put them in so I just bought a special divider to separate them from the other fish. We'll see how that works. Thanks for your reply though! I appreciate it! Have a great day!

That's good. I wish you luck with your babies. Keep us updated.
