Out of town 5 day and treating for fin rot
One of my ten gallon tanks currently has 2 guppies with fin rot in it. I have been giving them bettafix (someone told me it works just as well for guppies, too) and doing 15-20 percent daily water changes, and they are rapidly looking better, but I will be in Chicago for 5 days and I can't get anyone to do water changes for me, What do I do?????

Hope for the best is really all I can say.

I would just change their water right before you leave then change it when you come back.

I'm not sure, sweety. Never kept guppies myself.

i agree with Dramaqueen...............water change right before you leave and immediately upon return...........Its the best your gonna do for your fish, since no one can care for them while your away.........I hope you have the best of luck with them...........Guppies lifespan under ideal conditions is usually around the 3 year mark.........ex girlfriend of mine had one female that lived for almost 5 years, but i find that to be very unusual for guppies..........
