ro water purifier
Can anyone recommend a good place to get a reasonably priced ro water purification system??
I can say avoid EBAY. The cheap $99 units are Chinese knockoffs. You are generally looking at about 40TDS through very inefficient DI resin. How do I know? Because I once bought replacement filters from those suppliers.
I recommend BuckEye Field Supply http://www.buckeyefieldsupply.com/ These guys are on many forums helping to straighten people that bought garbage filters.
Tip: If you want the purist water get a unit that uses a Dow Fimtec 75gpd RO membrane.
This is my newest unit. http://www.aquariumwaterfilters.com/...shop&Itemid=28
Except, I have 3 external pre sediment filters and then 2 chloramine blaster cartridges.
Thanks a bunch you just saved me some $$. I just purchased one of their ro/di systems.
Ebay has some cheap ones. However I hear the really cheap ones still leave a lot of TDSs in the water. I have one off Ebay from a seller called Pure Water Planet. Been having it for 6 months & still TDS at 0. Wasn't the cheapest, but it was like $169 for a 100 GPD RO/DI unit.
Dustin if you read my link you'd have seen a 100GPD with a guaranteed Filtech membrane for $123.
